EARTHWISE -
Earthwise Algae based sorbents were developed in-house, with their sister company Arctic Foam in conjunction with UC San Diego, with over a decade of world leading technology in high performance and green alternative poly foams.
Their mission is to develop high performance, sustainable, recycled and
re-purposed algae based sorbent to clean-up man's mistakes and our
planet.
Our man about town met with Jim Mullen (CEO) and Richie
Schultz (VP Business Development) at the Oceanology
International 2018 event in London to look at their products
and discuss ways of raising finance for social projects.
Thanks guys.
Earthwise has been awarded several EPA approvals for it's products.
Sorbents, (short for absorbents) is what clean-up crews use when there is an oil or chemical spill. Now for the first time, Earthwise will be able to add it's Algae based sorbents into a new line of products. "We can truly say we are using nature and science together to clean up oil spill around the world," says Jim Mullen, CEO of
Earthwise.

ROYAL VICTORIA DOCKS
- The building of London’s Royal Docks introduced a new world of commerce to the expanding capital. The dock is dominated by the ExCeL Exhibition Centre, constructed on the north quayside and opened in November 2000, and by the adjacent high level Royal Victoria Dock Bridge. The waterside location of ExCel is used to its advantage when it hosts nautical events, with visiting vessels moored alongside the exhibition centre.
The Royal Victoria Dock is the largest of three docks in the Royal Docks of east London, now part of the redeveloped Docklands. The dock area has experienced major redevelopment under the London Docklands Development Corporation. The dock itself still exists and is accessible to ships, although its western entrance has been filled in and it is now used chiefly for
watersports. Its transport links have been greatly improved with new roads and Docklands Light Railway lines running along both its north and south side.
